About OnStreamOnStream is a hosting service for UK rowing clubs. We provide web space and
email addresses at a very low cost, all under the
rowing.org.uk domain name. We do not offer dialup access, but with
the proliferation of free ISPs, we provide a polished surface to your club's
Internet presence as well as providing support. We can help you set up with an
ISP in the first place, too. Why are we here?For some time UK rowing has been growing on the Internet. Starting with
sites like The Rowing Service,
the new technology has been adopted gradually but now we have made it easier
than ever to get your rowing club on the web. Account detailsAccounts with OnStream start at 20 pounds a year - this is less than 2 pounds per month. For this we will provide 4 megabytes of web space and as many email addresses at your domain as you need. Access to the server is via FTP for web space and email is forwarded on. If you wish to have an account or want to find out more, email accounts@rowing.org.uk and speak to us. We have an FAQ which you can find here and an Order Form which you can download and print from here. Our billing year ends on the 31st January, thus we have set up a system
whereby we give better value to clubs. If you join between the 1st August and
the 31st October inclusive, then you get 50% off the account fee, whereas if
you join up beteween 1st November and 31st January you get 75% off the account
fee. We will then bill you again for the new billing year which begins on the
1st February. |
